Common sense seems to go out the window sometimes (not to mention spending £130 for a pair of DMsIf I'd bought a pair of DMs (and I have at least 10 pairs) and one boot had a ridge and the other didn't, they'd have been taken back to the shop I bought them from or if bought online online, I'd still have taken them to a DM shop for their opinion.
Before wearing.

Indeed it does.
Not one pair of mine have cost anywhere near £130.
The last pair I bought from the DM website cost £50.
I've bought BNIB from eBay for less than that.
I have pairs bought new 30+ years ago very cheaply.0
