Minster Baywatch PCN..think i have messed up

Hi all,

I have a regular subscription to a casino car park (monthly direct debit) and have a member ship card i display when parking there on weekdays. Today however i forgot to display the card and got a PCN.
Not thinking straight i filled in the appeal form with this information including my name and position as driver and apologizing. The parking company Brandsbury Wilson say they cannot help me in this case.
I have a feeling the appeal with be rebuffed with the generic statement.

So i guess what i need to know is the best course of action based on the rash decision i made to mess up the initial appeal? Apologies if this is a post that gets repeated.

The parking company is not Bransby Wilson, it's Minster Baywatch. If you appealed to MB admitting to driving than you are simply the same as about half the posters here, no different.

    Wait for your POPLA code.

Complain to the casino manager of course, he/she might cancel these all the time.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Thats great thanks for the reply, i get the parking pass from BW so tried asking them if they could help, they said no. Is it best to appeal to the Casino in writing or go in and speak to them first?

    Many Thanks

Go and speak to the Manager and ask him/her to cancel. They will probably have a phone number to do so for genuine customers. Most retailers or facilities do.

You will have to leave your pass card in the car though this time!

They would say that. Bransby Wilson are a connected company to Minster Baywatch!

  • Well the landowner simply said they do not get involved, although im not sure i got to speak to a proper manager, would it be worth following that up?

I got a reply to the appeal and as predicted they said no, pay up or appeal.

I have my POPLA code, do i follow the help instructions or do i need to adjust based on me ballsing up the initial information i have given?

And once again apologies if you have to repeat the same information all the time, i just want to get this right.

Always, and BEFORE trying POPLA, as your POPLA code lasts 30+ days.

Search the forum for Minster Baywatch Bransby Wilson POPLA (spell it all correctly or copy those exact words from here into the search box) and you should find one similar to your case from earlier this year.

  • Thanks, i can't find a template for a similar situation but i will proceed with the Casino again and prep a template based on one from newbie post #3.

I did notice a discrepancy on the signage, shall i post that information now or after getting photographic evidence?

The other Bransby Wilson Minster Baywatch POPLA appeals you could have found by searching (and they are here) expose the fact that most signs do not name MB as operating the car park. They have Bransby Wilson on.

  • Hi again,

quick update, i managed to get some help from the landowners but they are busy to im pushing the time limit to appeal with a POPLA, i have sent a message to them with my urgency but in the meantime i think i am best preparing for the letter of appeal.

I have photographed the signage and have an area i think there is a flaw (no mention of Bransbury Wilson on it) should i post it up here for comment to see what you think is the best approach?
