It's entirely possible the wheel and tyre got scraped, but I can't see anything on the rim or the sidewall in that pic. It certainly doesn't appear to be severe enough to even cause any alignment issues - I'd assume that's all been checked.
I'd say the chances of gearbox damage from that were minimal.0 -

when im driving over speed bumps there's a noise coming from this side that definitely wasn't there before ive asked garage to look to see whats causing this when they take it back in.0 -
My bet would be that it's just the plastic arch liner not quite secured properly.0
