    Another £25 to MBNA today.

Need to look at transferring some of the Barclaycard balance (£2300) as the 0% ends on 1st August and also the Santander card to stop interest accruing on there. Tesco card is now cleared so will check any offers available there when the next statement comes through.

£770 paid off Santander today! Yay! Plus another Creation payment of £24.33

One more scheduled payment to come out this month then I can see where the debt stands.

Went shopping today and once again it was over budget. I have a feeling that some grocery prices may have been sneaking up over the last few months as I was very careful to stick to my list. Even the lady next to me loading her car up commented that her shop was more expensive than usual by about £20. Think I may need to compare my receipts to last years and see

Santander have offered me 0% balance transfer (can't remember the fee atm) for 12 months. According to my Tesco app my latest statement has been produced so will see what they have to offer tomorrow then I can work out where to transfer Barclaycard 1 balances to before the 0% on it ends.

2 weeks gone, 2 weeks left til next pay day and think we're doing ok. Overspent on food but have over £560 'spare' at the mo. I reckon another £125 on food and fuel (still have £75 left in food/fuel account) and hopefully I will have around £400 by the end of the month to pay off the cards.

£10 postcode lottery win this month so that will be added to the debt payment pot too.

Sorted through my business stock today so I can list what's available tomorrow. Hopefully that will bring in a bit more this month.

Need to order dog food but that comes out of the 'dog' account so already accounted for. Also need to order present for nieces birthday which will be funded from the 'gifts' account.

Woo, just did the self employed grant thing and got awarded £143. Not a lot but every little helps as they say.

Tesco statement not due out til later this month so will have to wait a little longer to see about any deals. I would call them but as it takes forever to get through I might as well wait!

Had a birthday present for the youngest to return to Argos because half the bits were missing. It was ordered by step mum in law for home delivery to us as it was during lockdown. Had to go into a store to return it, I just wanted a replacement but it wasn't in stock so they gave me a gift card to reorder online. That's all fine however the giftcard value is £15 because the item has been reduced to clearance, that would also be fine if I cold get it delivered but they want to charge me £3.95 for delivery!! I'm not doing click and collect, it was their error (well the manufacturers but I'm not dealing with them). So need to speak to someone but again it takes forever to get through to anyone. I either want the original item delivered for free or a full refund so I can get it elsewhere!

Listed my stock online and have sold most of it so another £60 in the pot, will have to make more stock this weekend so hopefully more sales next week.

Hubby has found out he will possibly be on reduced hours for the forseeable future due to the COVID situation which means only 80% pay so I either need to up my work and sales or he needs to find some part time work to cover the differences. I have a load of stuff to list on ebay or facebook marketplace so the next few weeks will be busy trying to get that done. Dad has nearly finished building my storage cupboard for my work stuff so I will finally have a bit more space for things which will make it easier. Next obstacle is to get rid of the kids for a bit so I have time to get it done!!

It looks like I forgot to include the Creation loans in my earlier calculation so not sure if I can get to under £38k this month, current balance is £38363.23 after all minimums are paid plus a few extra payments. I will be happy if I can get it to £38300 as I think I will need to keep some back just in case Mr K doesn't find anymore work or mine slows down.

OK pay day tomorrow so have been transferring money about. £2469.90 transferred from BC 1 to Santander at 0% with 3% fee and £100 sent to my Mum's fund. Made a couple of small payments to a few of the cards so current balances are:

    Barclaycard 1 £5220.40
    Barclaycard 2 £2599.49
    MBNA £7075.30
    Amazon £6461.74
    Santander £3012.85
    Creation Loans £1232.67
    Mum £12740
    Magnet - paid
    Total o/s £38342.45

I have about £200 more that I can pay however if I do it now it will affect the DD's which I don't want it to so will wait until they have gone out again. Also our mortgage payments start again this month but Mr K is still only on 90% pay so just need to make sure we have enough to get by on, it should be fine but will keep it to one side just in case.

Mr K has sold a few bits from the old car today, total £310 (less postage which should be around £4) he wants to keep some of it back for a car fund (to me this is a car emergency fund, to him it's probably a 'ooooo look, I want it' fund!!) so have agreed to keep £250 safe (only I know where it is) and the rest to the credit cards.

Work has been slow this week due to entertaining 2 kids and the dog! It's very draining, especially when one keeps you up most of the night! And we can't even get help from family at the moment. I'm very tired!

Oh, work cupboard is now done and full.
Got the toy sorted with Argos, ended up going back in to collect as we were going into town for a day out (mum & dad in law sent us some money to treat the kids, had a day out down the seafront plus got the youngest his first pair of shoes) so just thought it'd be easier instead of arguing with them!

OK so I'm going to have to be careful with the spending this month. Not sure I'll be able to make any overpayments unfortunately. Mortgage starts again on 29th and I don't really want to take any further holiday from paying it.

Transferred all money to cover bills and £350 to cover food and fuel for this month, with what was left over from last month it leaves £389.36 which I really hope is enough. That leaves us a £114.01 buffer plus the grant I just got of £143. OK, so not too bad but will still have to keep within budget as the next 2/3 months will be tight with reduced pay for Mr K still. I just want these debts gone!!

Still not had my money back from the doggy day care. I now need to pay a further £25 to send bailiffs round!! They owe ME money, so why does it cost ME more to get it back?!! I know it all gets added to their bill so I will (hopefully) get it back but it's not fair.

Also have to go to the furniture ombudsman to try and get our kitchen floor replaced. Will try and get up to date this week now Mr K is home from work again so I have help with the kids and dog! Another thing to add to the to do list is list all our stuff to sell. I just wish it wasn't so time consuming! I have so many kids clothes and 3 boxes of various stuff (books, cake decorating bits, shoes etc) I've sold a lot through one of those book/DVD sites but some they either don't want or won't pay much for. I will list everything and renew it until it either sells or runs out then I'll donate it. I just want some space back and a tidy house!

    Ideas to increase funds:
    Promote my work more
Inventory the kitchen cupboards to see what meals I can make already
Make grocery list and stick to it - biscuits will have to come off the list, I have some bananas looking a bit manky so they can go in some muffins with some blueberries and I have oats and raisins so can make cookies too
Pay for CCJ to be enforced
    Fill in furniture ombudsman form
    List our stuff to sell

I really want to organise our house too, I feel like everything is just dumped all over the place and it's stressing me out. We need to minimalise our stuff to make it easier to keep clean, spent most of last week constantly picking up/clearing up after the boys and the dog!! Everything needs a home!

OK quick change to the above. I have decided to make little overpayments to round the numbers down. Amazon card payment went out today of £64.62, this left £6397.12 so I have paid an additional £7.12 to make it a nice round figure. Hopefully I can do that on each card
