I have a cheque book. Somewhere....
I have three.....and I know where they are.....:)0 -
OP why not ask around friends and family to see if one of them has a chequebook - you give them the cash they make the cheque out on their account for you?0

You will need it every year to get your discount so just get a cheque book and stop making life so awkward. Much better things to spend your time doingAn answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......0

Nationwide will issue a counter cheque for free if you don't have a cheque book.
Other building societies will also do this on request.
