When to book a flight

I have booked a hotel in Ibiza for 1 september next year. I wonder when might be a good time to book the flight ie now or leave it to say January. Any advice?

That's near enough to peak season to suggest that buying it on the day the flights are released would be the best bet.
If you've missed that, who knows? It could go up or it could go down.
Decide what you want to pay, search for a flight and if it's close enough to that figure for you to be happy book it direct with the airline and then don't look at the prices any more.0 -

Buy once the flights are released. Chances are the prices will only go up as you get closer, and more people book!0
