Maybe. But humour is in the eye of the beholder.
I've still not seen you actually say what you expect Loveholidays to do though?
How much money do you want?0 -
Yes I guess most substitution occurs in the travel industry but it is not confined to that. For example supermarket shopping deliveries can substitute alternative products should your chosen one be unavailable. Medicines are another one - unless he doctor has prescribed a certain brand then the pharmacy will supply the same drug but from different manufacturers.
There are probably others too.
Yes I’d be annoyed about this too but there ain’t much you can do and on he positive side you get another 4 hours in resort.0 -

Well I'm not sure Thomas Cook ever had s flight priced so high so some expectation management should be the order of the day.
Perhaps a £24 Travelodge room after landing might solve your issues.
Perhaps you should consider a member of Thomas Cook ex-staff may not even be able to stretch to that £24 now, never mind enjoy a holiday.
Although I doubt you are the sort that enjoys a holiday.......rather than finding it an opportunity to whine about minor inconveniences.0 -

It's an option, I suppose.Perhaps you should consider a member of Thomas Cook ex-staff may not even be able to stretch to that £24 now, never mind enjoy a holiday.
Ah yes the old "other people have it worse so suck it up" argument. Nobody can complain except the single person in the world who is objectively suffering the most, right?Although I doubt you are the sort that enjoys a holiday.......rather than finding it an opportunity to whine about minor inconveniences.
Actually I do, I just hate returning late.0 -
Anyone else suspect the ‘d’ in op’s username isn’t for ‘Dave’ but something else...0

I think you are being unreasonable in the circumstances.
Why can you not just be happy that your holiday is still going ahead and you still have a flight?.
4 Hours is not much in the scheme of things.
If you are that peeved get a refund and start all over again. I would be surprised if you get any better.0 -

That would result in a £276 loss, due to cancellation fees and some non-refundable bits.0
