I like the features of Blackvue but the price is a bit steep.
If an older model is acceptable and 4k definition not a necessity, I find full h.d. more than adequate, look on eBay or similar. I purchased my DR750S-2CH for much less than the new price. It was from an authorised Blackvue distributor, on eBay U.K. and sold as "manufacturer refurbished". It was brand new and possibly a customer return. Hardwire kits are readily available, mine was actually sold with a hardwire kit as on option.
I agree though, the Blackvue prices, new, are more than a bit steep!:(0
