Also, whos car park, and how long was the vehicle in the car park for?

Half_way - Finnbarrs leisure club, but I didn't actually go into the car park at all as I saw signs up for members only, I turned around and was photographed driving back out of the access road towards the main road, ironically in the photo you can see my brake lights as I approach the main road as the access road is on a down hill slope! I have also pointed this out to the UKPS but they ignored it!

In addition to the above, you should complain to the DVLA that since you didn't stop, the scammers have unlawfully obtained your personal data.

Is there any point in contacting the DVLA to complain? I was wondering it for myself in my current ECP case. There was an article in the Times back in August about the practice of farming out our personal details for cash with no regard to the data protection legislation – and this is a government agency! There was also a PDF template letter that was posted on their site to download.

To be honest I doubt that they would even respond. ( are there any letters of response from the DVLA on here? )
They are the most removed and aloof agency/department I have ever dealt with.

Sometimes it’s as much about adding another straw to the camel’s back as getting a favourable (or any) response. Unless a complaint is made, who knows what button it might press or what the response will be.

As well as helping individuals with their personal case, regulars here are equally working on the bigger picture, hence the encouragement of complaints to the right places, with newbies doing their little bit to help the war effort.

    yes ....

    but

it will almost certainly be a fob off or template reply.

They will reply if it goes to the correct department ...

you can search the forum for such if you desire ...

HOW TO USE THE FORUM SEARCH FUNCTION:

Use the Forum Jump button (one near the top and one near the bottom of this page) to get back to the forum thread list. Just above the threads, on the right, is a heading along a line, next to forum tools, called 'Search this Forum'. Put your key word(s) in and change the default search from 'Show Threads' to 'Show Posts'.
