So, did you pay the scammer? If so it is not really a win.

    Hi Guys

I have a previous thread on this forum from when I was looking for advice to build my case to put CCJ aside from a parking ticket 5 years ago. My argument was it was sent to old address and I won.

I wonder now how long it will take to disappear off credit report as it’s still there (after one week) and do I have to do anything myself to remove it? Applying for a job at Axa and it’s come up already. Thanks

I don't know how long it takes.

However, you can send them copies of the court order and ask for them to update asap, although i'd guess they'll say that they need to hear it from the court/claimant.

But, what i really wanted to say, show the court order etc to Axa. They'd have to be pretty stupid not to accept the evidence you can present them.

Well what should I have done ? Let a CCJ sit on my credit file for 7 years? I’m not at an age where I could get away with that. I still need my first mortgage.

IMO, it’s been set aside so I’ve won.

RE Axa, you’re right I’ll present to them the judgment order. Just awkward!
