Hi,
Is there any car park in Peterborough that is quite where my friend can go and practice some riding. Just things like U-turns, emergency stop and figure of eight. Hes already passed his license 2 years ago but he hasn't ridden in a long time and is very rusty with doing slow speed turns etc so he just wants to get some practise with it. He searched a training school to jog his memory a little but didnt fancy paying the prices they charge. It will only be a day and obviously at a time when all businesses are closed so that there are no other cars etc in the car park. Are there are car parks in Peterborough that are very quite? Big or small doesnt matter as long as it is quite.
Thanks.

If you own the carpark or have the landowners written permission and its private with no public access.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

When my daughter bought a car in Peterborough we took it for a test drive but she did not want to drive on Peterborough roads so I took it to the Showcase cinema car park where she got a feel for the car.
Obviously at a time when no films were showing.0 -
I saw the post title and thought it was a question about dogging.:rotfl:0

If they owned the car park why would they be asking if anyone knew where it was, and why do you need permission to drive in a car park?
Honestly, some of the replies on here are downright bizarre.0 -

I assumed a motorbike, given the slow speed turns and figure of 8 riding.and he has passed his test
I didn’t know you needed a test for bike or horse
Do you really believe any different0 -
There's loads of car parks/business parks all over Peterborough you could use, as mentioned Showcase cinema, the old Toysrus car park now it's burnt down, Serpentine Green, Van Hague garden centre etc or simply have a ride round the back roads in Fengate outside business hours. If he's legal to ride it then I don't see any issue.0

be carefull that those car parks do not have private parking co,s looking after them , the majority of those type are signposted parking when premises are open , and time restrictions , many ask you to validate your stay on an ipad type device instore
the anpr type systems take a photo (usually) of your front plate as you enter and your rear , as you leave
motorcycles do not have front number plates ans I believe that here was a major problem in Peterborough, where the wind had blown stray plastic bags covering the rear number plates on bikes asthey left the private sites0
