Why do you want a refund?
  • there is a slight crease mark on the inside of the leather strap causd by my trying the watch on.
I want a refund because the strap is too small for me also the watch is heavy and the pointer and dil does not glow brightly enough for my requirments at night .

So let's get this straight. There's now a mark on the strap due to you wearing it for an extended period with the strap being too small and you want them to give you a full refund?

If you're still within 14 days of receiving the watch you may be able to cancel and return the watch as it was purchased online but the retailer has a right to deduct an amount if the value of the goods has been reduced due to handling the goods more than was necessary.
  • Thank you for answering my question . Thank you.

  • Why not keep the watch and simply buy a slightly longer strap for it?

If you do this, the cost of the replacement will probably end up being far less than any deduction the retailer would make due to the reduced value of the watch.

    As above .
Whats a used slightly damaged watch worth 60% of retail .
  • Its not just a case of a longer strap as I have explained in my previous posts.

I saw the watch online liked the look of it recieved it put it on I was in the second last hole of the strap which ment the remaning length of strap was justsay in the excess strap holder thing.
the watch also felt heavy and there is a problem with me viewing the time in dim light as I feel the luminous coating is not effective enough.
due to me trying the watch there is a slight crease on the inside of the strap.

What make of watch is it? as has been said simply change the strap ( they are not expensive ) as for it being heavy,is it one of those big chunky models you see in a jewelers window or footballers wrist? maybe should have done more research before buying.

due to me trying the watch there is a slight crease on the inside of the strap.

The watch being heavy and the luminosity not being very good are things that you could have assessed without wearing the watch for a couple of hours and if you felt it wasn't suitable then you could have returned it for a full refund of the amount originally paid.
By wearing it for 2 hours, you have gone beyond what is reasonable to assess the watch and it's because of this that a full refund can be denied.
This is all assuming that you were made aware of your cancellation rights by the retailer.
