Shark Vacuum Cleaners - A Good Buy?

2»

Comments

  • We have one and I have mixed feelings about it. We have the one which was has a "pet power brush" as we have two dogs. Although the vaccum is handy enough for quick cleaning it simply is not up to the job of coping with a lot of dog hair.

    Shark have replaced several parts for it (customer service really good actually) but even with new parts it quickly gets clogged up.

    So we have a corded Dyson to use as the "main" cleaner and the Shark as a reserve - albeit an expensive one at £300!

    It's handy for the cars though, and picking up crumbs etc

    We have the Shark IF200UK. Paid £239 last year but also bought spare battery which in my opinion you need. Like the vacuum as good for floors, hard surfaces and car. Handy for whizzing around after Grandchildren have eaten their meals.

    I wouldn't normally...but given your sig...

    spec = short for specification
    speck = mote

    Minor spelling issue :D

    Can’t say I have ever written the word “speck” before so wouldn’t have known the spelling...

    (But thanks for the correction. I will remember that one!)

    So are glasses specs of specks???
    Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
    Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

    No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

    I would go with this myself (being one):
    • Specs
    • Specky twat
    • bonus: spick and span

    Hmm.
    Thanks for the thoughts.

    I guess I'm just a bit put off Dyson as ours is okay but not amazing.
    I'm also sick of having to get the brush bar out and get all the hair from it.

    Not too bothered about running out of power though as the Dyson doesn't have the longest battery and we do okay with it.
