    Thanks for this - been thinking about getting one of these for a while!
    Not sure i'll actually use it *that* much, since i dont have that many recipies for one (yet), but from all accounts they last years, so it's a good investment!

    You'll use it loads- I've got a similar one from my wedding 18 years ago and I use it at least once a week. Thanks OP- that is a great find.:beer:

    I'd have to defer to the experts on the moneysaving old style board for that:o- had a quick look and they seem to be using it like a slow cooker because its so thick- but I use mine for all sorts of casseroles and stews. It is great for taking out of the oven then onto the table- or you can use it to brown meat onthe hob and then put it in the oven. It just looks so classy:D
