Sealed Pot Challenge!!
Comments
-
Hi Guys, we have had a sealed tin for about 2 months - saving our money towards the kids ski trip. The telly cameras were here yesterday to film for Martin's new show in the new year, and filmed the children opening the tin and counting the money! just over £75 in 2 months - not bad at all!!
Only problem now, is that I have no new tin to start off! I did ask OH for a terramundi for Christmas, but as we are skint, that is likely to go by the wayside. I will have to come up with something just as indestructable, so I can start aiming for my 2008 sealed tin target, which will hopefully pay for a holiday for us all this time next year!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Now you need to go and make a huge, extra tough, paper mache bank :jI reserve the right not to spend.

Hypno, your children sound a lovely pair so can they not make a big papier mache pot during the school holiday? Very DFW and fun too:j0

Your friends will soon want to join in, trust me on thatWe've had glass painting coffee mornings, halloween costume making get togethers, paper mache weekends... and none of them cost a fortune

Hi everyone
Just had to pop in... can't add to my sealed pot at the moment as we are in the UK...
but I spotted the chat about xmas pressies.. I started my xmas pressie making for 2008 a couple of weeks ago, have finished 2 scarfs and am 3/4 of the way through my 3rd ...and now have just picked up a pattern book for knitted xmas characters - so i have just begun my first attempt at a knitted polar bear teddy :T and my niece has spotted the knitted hand muff..shaped like a yule log -complete with knitted robin ..and is rather taken with it..so that might be another pressy off my list :j ... im determined to make as many pressies as possibe - which will free up more money for my sealed pot
...have picked up 3 more sealed tins too..a £10, £20 and £40 note design :T

Not dry yet, but looking good, I think  Technically, Penny is a macaroni penguin, very apt considering I'll be living on that next year LOLI reserve the right not to spend.
