ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!!! I love 'Cheap Cheap'. Well done and good luck.
Stunty... sorry to hear about the leg falling off, maybe he should just be called 'stunty' the 3 legged pig? LOL Need to scroll back through the last 2 pages of posts and find out what happened now. (Sorry, didn't mean to laugh but :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: it sounds soooooo funny!! OOPS! I did it again! Sorry)

This is what I have done for my mum's Christmas
She'll be mortified if she finds out it's online but maybe it'll make her stick to the plan LOL
CA'S CASH COW
What's included:
1 motivational, easy wipe clean poster (the mse demotivator)
1 genuine, non-flushable swipe card
1 'handmade' keyring to remind you
1 instruction manual (ok, this sheet of paper!!)
instructions:
'phil the pig' is a paper mache bank. this is what i am filling during my participation in this exact same challenge - and it is a challenge, a real one!
On your behalf, I have also made Ca's Cash Cow (as seen in photo at top of page) and each time you swipe your magic Cyberdosh card - £5 at a time as often as you like - your payment will be transferred to 'Ca's Cash Cow'.
In order that you know this to be correct, 'Cash Cow' (or Ca's Cow, whichever you prefer) will telephone you within 48 hours of making your payments and she will rattle down the phone at you, plus send you an email stating her weight gain. This will be in grams, not pounds, as she's a metric cow.
On behalf of all the people who are participating in this challenge, known worldwide as Ca's Cash Cow Challenge (CCCC), we wish you good luck for 2008.
On Christmas Day 2008, you will be presented with your actual 'Cash Cow'. How much it weighs or contains is entirely up to you. The attached barcode can also be used, should you choose to use the alternative method, as follows:
Bring 2 cups of water to the boil
Mix one cup cold water with one cup plain flour
Blend the above paste into the boiling water
Simmer for a few minutes then allow to cool
Whilst above cools, blow up a balloon. Cellotape 4 cut-outs from an egg carton on as legs and a milk carton lid over the knot of the balloon.
Use the cooled paste to glue shredded newspaper onto the balloon
Let it dry completely once sufficient layers have been added
Cut out 2 large pointed ears and a small tail and stick on at opposite ends of your original creation.
Paint the whole thing grey and set to dry completely.
Once dried, cut out this barcode (piccie of a barcode label) and stick it onto your paper mache animal in a very prominent position, preferably near the tail end, so it can be easily scanned at any local PayPoint. (£5 per scan as often as you choose.)
The above method is known as 'MAKING AN (3 letter word for a donkey) OF YOURSELF IN PUBLIC' but, believe it or not, the above is far healthier, far more appealing, less stinky and far more financially savvy than sucking on a roll of paper filled with shrivelled up dead leaves and the occasional beastie that pops when it explodes.
Good luck and may your target of £500 be met. This will be your Christmas Gift to yourself in 2008. I'll even deliver it personally!
PS: This is 'Phil the Pig'. He'll be keeping Ca's Cash Cow company throughout the journey in search of financial full-fill-ment. (piccie of Phil the Pig)Merry Christmas
Happy New Year for 2008Feel free to copy this and do similar for any smokers you know but make sure your 'barcode' isn't real :rotfl: :beer:I reserve the right not to spend.

Hi All
Firstly would like to say that all the animal as looking really good, i might look into making one with my DD in the new year.
Nothing much to report this week havent had much money to spend so not had much change in my wallet.
It is payday tomorrow for me so I decided today to put all the coins from my wallet into my sealed pot, it totaled £3 all together, that included a £2 coin as well.

These animals are brilliant, I really must have a go sometime.
I was in Stony Stratford, near Milton Keynes the other day and bought a small terramundi type money pot for £3.85 from a shop called Metalyka, they had about 6 or 7 of them, they are about half the size of the original ones and they do have a bung in the base, so not 100% sealed like the proper ones. Anyway further along the high street, there is a shop called Hubbards and they have the original terramundis in stock for £17.99. Just in case any of you live nearby I thought I'd mention it.
Mines lovely, but I am using a wooden sealed box for this challenge.
I am not putting much in though, I will have to improve my efforts!:o I have a £2 coin in my purse, so I will go and put it in right now.
Well done to everyone with the animals. :xmassign:A penny saved is one you don't have to earn! :wave:0 -
