Take care, Mumzi, and have a nice time with your mum visiting. Hope you can enjoy Christmas and we'll all be thinking of you.

On a lighter note - here's a little funny thought to help cheer you up. Someone has just shown me a website that was selling FOUR FOOT BALLOONS!!! Imagine the scrap paper you'd need for that!! I'm gonna save my Chrissie wrapping paper, just in case :) Mind you, I don't fancy being on the receiving end if I popped that before it was completely dried. I'd need a stuntman for that!! ROFL

    You rang????;)

:D I was just pondering the after effects of bursting a four foot balloon inside a paper mache pot that hadn't quite dried. Then thought of other adverse side effects!! Or worse! What if it burst whilst plastering it up in the first place?!

  • Well, as a Stuntman I'd recommend some sort of protective headgear and more importantly some protective eye wear...... lol

  • Hi all

Managed to put 15 coins in the pot last night:j but mostly of the copper/20p variety I'm afraid. The sales assistant at the Farm Shop was sooo apologetic handing me my change in small-value coins because she didn't have any £1 or £2 coins left left but I was delighted as I only save less than £1 coins in the pot anyway.

    Happy saving:beer:

Can I join to ? I hate christmas for a mumber of reasons and next year we will be going on holiday. So going to try and put £1 per day each for hubby and myself so aiming for about £700. I also have bottle that I save smaller coins in so hopefully that will help as well.

as this is 19th will try and put a few extra in each week to make up for not starting it on 1st lol
