    Hi Mumzy.

I can't honestly admit to knowing what you're feeling right now but I hope you are well soon.

I'm in, got myself a new sealed tin from the £ shop :D

Aiming for £400 to cover Christmas shopping (groceries as already on Christmas free challenge for presents) and maybe a present for me :D I usually only put £2 coins in but as there seemed to be a shortage last year I might throw in some £1 coins in too.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Impo..... I must be the High Street's worst nightmare! What's more, I even scrounge Tesco points whilst collecting Co-op points! I finally received proof that it does work... use a Tesco Clubcard Credit Card to pay your shopping in Co-op and you reap the benefits from both! And in true MSE fashion, always convert to Tesco Deals so you get much, much more for your points.

    Thanks for that tip,nykmedia:beer:

Actually, I already do something similar, tho' not for extra points as we don't have a Co-op nearby. Have used it in Boots for points though. I'm an Asda girl and have made a fortune in Tesco points this past year whilst doing my big supermarket shops in Asda:rotfl: . I used the card everywhere and for everything I could(making sure to pay off the full balance each month or the interest would defeat the object!). Just a shame Lidl don't accept it or I could make a packet there too. Never actually set foot in Tesco these days but had £36 in Tesco points in the last mailing:j :j :j which will be vey useful when converted to Deals and sold on eBay!

Lil me i think the reason there was a shortage of two pound coins last year was all the people on the £2 coin challenge they fairly wracked a few up ...i did myself but was more a lurker (and can only assume i wasnt the only 1) like you i landed up having to collect £1's in the end
