I've just found this post (have been in and out of hospital and off the boards for the past few weeks...) and would like to join please. I have a postbox moneybox which I will use - it has an easy-to-open lid, so will have to summon all my willpower to keep it shut for 2008!

Mumzy - sorry to hear your news...can't offer any practical advice but wanted to send you a big hug!

I would like to join too please. Currently I put all my small change away but will empty it for credit card and start again. Just remortgaged - so as well as overpaying monthly it would be great if I could get £300 or more to add to the mortgage once a year.

ps Can any one tell me if I can change my name as another person has posted with the same name. Only difference is I have a capital letter at the beginning.

  • I'll join in too, if that's ok. Been outta the DFW scene for a while but really need to sort myself out! I already save 1p,2p and 5p in a old whisky bottle, but will get a tin from poundland for other change. I odn't expect to save hundred form this cos I won't put anything bigger than quid in, but it'll be good to know I'm doing somehting!

Hi Mumzy - glad you are feeling a bit better. HOpe you';ve got pink back in your face unlike me who decided to make a papier mache penguin to go with Spot the Pig. Only trouble is I've just put the last coat of pm on using black crepe paper - DO NOT TRY THIS YOURSELVES.!!!!! I now have completely black fingers and the kids tell me a smudge on my face and I';m working the bar tonight at a wedding at local castle and the black WILL NOT COME OFF !!!!!!!!!!
