    Well done people.

I'm delaying my opening as I'm stuck in the middle of an assignment I just have to get done, and this lovely money will be such a distraction! I can see it now - I'll be browsing holidays, making plans, buying stuff... and I'd never get this thing done!

My bags are here and waiting though and I'm still saving.

Sophiesmum, again... wow! I only save small change and will be happy if I have £100. Still holding off opening 'Phil the pig', but I really, really, really want to open him now! :D

    Well done, Taka! :)

Going to check back the pages now and see if anyone else has opened theirs yet.

I haven't got the patience for making my own pig, and didn't want to spend money on a savings pot, as I think that will just put me in a debit balance!!

So tonight I found an old Stork margarine tub and have (badly!) wrapped it in Christmas paper to remind me of why I am saving the money. It has £1 in itnow - coppers I counted earlier, and all of my loose change will be going in there.

Good luck with the savings all :D

  • Mollypop - might be a nice idea to have a "hall of fame" type thread? Makes it a bit easier to see than trying to find page 148 lol!
