brill news Molly :j :j
as for next year - definitely!!
My children are so up for it too, and both have put aside their pots. They are getting good at finding money when out & about. They usually find between 1p and £2. My DS is an expert at 11! He found £4.80 at Thorpe Park this year. He looks around when we are out shopping and rarely comes home penniless.
Jammy little so and so! Get him to pass on any tips he has - please moneypooh!A clever young lad for sure, another Martin in the making maybe!
56p today and may just be able to get a little something from a pocket that keeps jingling when the owner of it walks past me!!! :rolleyes:Sealed Pot Challenge 001 My Totals = 08 = £163.95 09 = £315.78 10 = £518.80 11 = £481.87 12 = £694.53 13 = £1200.20! 14 = £881 15 = £839.21 16 = £870.48 17 = £871.52 18 = £800.00 19 = £851.022021=£820.26[/SizeGrand Totals of all members (2008 uncounted) 2009 = £32.154.32! 2010 = £37.581.47! 2011 = £42.474.34! 2012 = £49.759.46! 2013 = £50.642.78! 2014 = £61.367.88!! 2015 = £52.852.06! 2016 = £52, 002.40!! 2017 = £50,456.23!! 2018 = £47, 815.88! 2019 = £38.538.37!!!! :j0 -
Hi all
Good news on the tummy front Molly.
Stunty - is that celebrations tub one that you bought as an early bargain for a xmas pressie, and then somehow, accidentally ate yourself per chance???lol I've heard that happens to some people (ie - not me!!!)
I've been working from home this week, so only a few pennies in the pottie. I reckon it will be full in a couple of weeks.
Hubby spent his change on a burger on the way home last night. so no change in his pockets today. Selfish so and so...Save me from spending...

LC- i don't have a Celebrations tub, I have a 4.5 litre (empty) bottle of whisky! And a paper mache pig called Sergeant Save!
Some change in the pig for me. Had to buy a spider repeller (electronic one) for the flat cause Mrs S saw a huge one and isn't happy coming to visit!
On another plus point, I didnt need to get a repair man to the washer, it had started making funny noises, but it turned out to be the under wire thingy for one of Mrs S's undergarments! one set of pliers and a bit of swearing later and it was working again. Thank God!
Young master S (the nephew) has acquired himself a part time job at Morrisons while he goes through full time college. He's a good kid and his head is firmyl screwed on.
Hope everyone's ok and tickety boo.I am one of the 63336.'It is better to have lived one day as a tiger than a thousand years as a sheep.'

......ooooh LC & you Stunty, did you 2 have to talk about celebrations? I could almost taste the little devils! I wouldn't dare by any chocs in our house until almost the day before Christmas as I have no willpower at all when it comes to anything choccy wise. I go mad at special times of the year, birthdays etc, then I won't touch them the rest of the year or I'd be huge!!!!
Glad your washer didn't cost you anything stunty, a miracle these days though! I'm with Mrs S on the spider front, I can't stand the little bugs. I won't ever hurt one, but they get trapped and go walkies up the road .......by hubs - of course!!!
Good for stunty nephew, he'll definately go far that young lad. What a great role model his uncle must be!!!
Nothing for me today, though I did manage to get 2 x £1 coins from a pocket of hubs the other night. It's ok, no problem, they needed rescuing and putting in a safe place!!! :rotfl:

We'll be using 'Penny Penguin' if 'Phil the Pig' doesn't recuperate fully after his operation on 1st December. Not long now!
Sorry I hardly ever get the chance to keep up with this thread now, I just don't have enough hours in the day to read everything on the MSE forums as well as keep up with my other challenge threads. But I am always saving and I will be here on 1st December - wouldn't miss that for the world!I reserve the right not to spend.

Evening Nyk! I have a feeling Sgt Save will be killed in the line of duty on the 1st, he's starting to cave in a little.....I'll start on Corporal Cash after the American Football finishes.I am one of the 63336.'It is better to have lived one day as a tiger than a thousand years as a sheep.'
