Haven't seen the whole thread and don't feel as if I know anyone too well, but hope to change that now I'm in the C21st with a new laptop.. :-)

    Hope all are keeping well..

  • I'm going to try and catch up with as much as I can - not sure if I'll make the whole thread though.

Will there be a brand new thread for next year? I hope so and I'd like to be in from the start of that one... :-))

  • By the way, does anyone know if you get 'timed out' from the site? Its just that I wrote a post for another thread just now as have been signed in but when I submitted it, I was thrown to the 'you need to register' page - so I lost all that I had written...:-(

    Morning sue,
Well my bl**dy computer at home is still refusing to let me post anything on here, I think it thinks I'm a ghost or something (whoo) well it is coming upto halloween isn't it!, did you manage to [strike]fleece[/strike] get any change off your DH lol.
Keep saving & take care ;)

Oh dear sparky, I was really sorry to read that as I though all would be ok. Do you have any problems accessing anywhere else on the net? Any good getting in touch with someone from admin to see if they can help? I hope you soon get sorted out, though you may have to wait until Oct 31st!!!! _pale_ :D Me fleece DH .....how could you even think of anything so awful  Wash your mouth out with soap at having such terrible thoughts!! :p :rotfl:I'm sure he has holes in his pockets! :D

Well done mickey mouse! Though you must be a glutton for punishment at wanting to read that lot!!! Ah, good for you and, as you say, at least you're getting to know us all ~ the quirky ways of the others ~ apart from me too!!!! :rotfl:

MargB ~ Welcome! It's great to have you saving with us now and it'll be great to have you aboard with your own number on the 2nd Dec! Good luck with your savings, your plans for them too!

Hi again Trying to save. Good to see you here and great going with your savings! To answer 2 of your questions:- YES, We will be starting a brand new thread for next year and it'll start up on the 2nd Dec. I'll be running it then as both Mumzy & Molly have too much on their plates, so we look forward to having you from the start - me too!!! :j :j Re the 'timing out' problem you're having, I've never been 'timed out' from the site ....yet!!! To be on the safe side though, after you've written a post, copy and save it each time ......just in case. Good luck.

Hiya Stunty. A good and penny-picking-up day for you I hope. I've added £5.30 to the pot today, just don't ask me where £3 of it came from. Goold old hubby!!!! :rotfl:

    Good Morning everyone,
Bit wet here in Liverpool this morning (thank God for waterproofs lol). :D
Stunty I like the idea of snack & drinks for free, but I don't think I could part with £15 (tightwad that I have become since finding MSE) ;)

Trying to Save welcome back, I'm having problems with my 'puter at home, it wont let me post on here (temperamental so & so, the 'puter, not you lol)

MargB welcome, and as stunty has already said in another post, you can never leave, once you're "In". You're "In" .:rotfl:

Mickey Mouse You're doing well, keep up the good work with the saving. Your head must have been caned by the time you finished reading this lot lol.

Last but not least! Sue You're already doing a great job taking over from mumzy & molly (hope they're both OK), but you are going to have to come clean to your hubby about the lack of holes in his clothes lol, at this rate you'll be millionaires, off the back of "loose" change from hubby :D
