Glad you feel ok Molly. Was thinking of you today.

Sparky - Mrs S is fine thanks for asking. She's had the a o.k from the hospital, so thats a relief.

A few pennies in Sgt Save today. He's getting heavy I think.....

    Hiya sue,

I'm using four at the mo, one for "£2 challenge," one for "20p challenge," one for "sealed pot challenge" and one for "off the road challenge"
So I don't think the total for each is going to be that massive, and I'm not sure what to do with it all yet, pay it off the mortgage, treat myself to something, stick it in the ol isa, use it for christmas food/presses? What do the peeps on here think, what's your best idea/what are you all doing,

Hi HWGA. I think if it was me I'd go for the bill, but only you know what it's best spent on ...or ploughed (I love that phrase - when we're talking big money!) into, though both the mortgage and Christmas presents/food could be termed as being bills in a sense, depending what cash you have for Christmas other than what's in the bottles. In other words ....it's up to you to decide!!!! :rotfl:I'm useless at decision making!:o

I agree with Molly, Little Chicken. By far the best way with both.

So pleased all went well for you Molly, all best wishes for the tests and do try not to worry too much! :) I'm glad you didn't tip the chap after he kept you waiting, bit of a cheek to expect it anyway! :p

Hiya Stunty! Such great news about mrs S, a relief indeed for you both! :j Was "Stunty" above meant to read sparky per chance??? :p I reckon he's still shopping with his dw!!! :D

Pleased about Sgt Save, but I'm finding this difficult as I'm concerned that I'll expect too much and be disappointed. Daft though as what ever it is, it's money we wouldn't have had otherwise! Twit - me - not you! :D

Nothing in the pot today, but hopeful for tomorrow after we get back from shopping.

Oh, I'm delighted it isn't just me that does daft things, in fact suddenly I feel oh so normal!!! :p It was good to see you'd both celebrated in some way or another, every reason! Just realised that Sparky said he'd be off line until Monday as he's got problems with his PC.
Have a good day tomorrow (today!) Stunty, everyone else too.

    Hiya peeps!

    Just an update really.

We made our first sealed pot yesterday. It was an old Gucci Rush gift box I've kept in the wardrobe for ages! It's long and flat and I'm quite excited trying to imagine how much change it can house :)

We ripped the inner liner out, popped the lid back on and I cellotaped it one way. Youngest daughter (Zoe, nearly 4) sat for 20 mins putting the spare change we throw into the 'house' (ceramic pot) into the little hole I made (which WILL take £2 coins btw! :)) and then the eldest did the rest. It feels heavy already but is so obviously not even an eighth (SP!) full.

I'd planned on doing papier mache banks this weekend but we didn't have the gear, so we'll make them sometime this week and I'll take photo's then post em so you can all have a good laugh ;)

    *cheer for camo pigs!*

We're gonna do a cool penguin and a delicious pink piggie! I think whoever first created those banks was inspired!
