Well I have to admit that Spot has everything apart from £2 coins in him - he has even eaten a few notes when we've got tips from weddings so hoping to be around the £200 mark - especially as its spedning money for USA

OH got 2 £2 coins today and they are now in pot :j

Still only half full, seems its been like that forever!

I was in a card shop the other day and they had 99p sealed tins for coins with different coins on them i.e one that had pennies on front up to ones with £2 coins on, i wanted to buy just incase they don't have them forever so i can get ready for next year.

    Only 4 months early :rotfl:

Didn't have enough cash on me though! I think i am gonna have to book 1st Dec off work and shake my terramundi, i can't bear to break it!
Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month

Now if you shake youre terrimundi then you will enlarge the slot especially if you use a flat bladed knife. However, if you could get a drill bit that cuts the holes for downlighters ( lights in ceilings) and put the terrimundi upside down on a cushion use this to make a nice neat 2" hole in the bottom of the terrimundi you can get all the money out with little hasstle or dust. You then seal the pot up again, i have to use glass fibre and resin ( available from auto accesory shops) as I have no will power but you could use loads of cellotape ready to start again next year.
( you can see I've got experience)
    hth.

Hi all, £2 coins for me yesterday so I'm happy for now but look forward to the next lot!

Good to see the thread will be in safe hands with you taking over the reins Molly. Though it'll still be good to see you whenever you're passing by Mumzy so keep in touch when you can.
