Elliemoo thats a brilliant idea using empty coke cans:D - I will do next time - that when I need to open the tin I have its a tin opener job so no good after that!! I have only managed another few coppers this weekend as I am using my debit card more to stay in control - so maybe wont have so much change.

Just to say when I had my last tin for saving, after I'd opened and emptied it, I put the top back on and wrapped sellotape (lots of it:rotfl: ) around the rim to keep it in place and used it again.... :-)

Total = £660 :j thats the good news, now I am deciding whether to invest it in a money making idea I have (webshop) or to pay off a debt?
Then again I might just get a pot twice as big and keep saving to the big £1,000!
