I want to save all I can, downsize some of the stuff i have been hoarding and sort myself out, financially, physically and mentally.

  • I think this is a great idea....im working hard to pay off my overdraft, loan and credit cards by thinking where im actually spending money.

This could be a little contingency pot for any torrential rainy days, but im keeping my fingers crossed that i can put this towards an extremely well deserved holiday (the first i will have taken with my husband - and we've been together since June 2001!)

My sister bought me a terramundi for christmas so im going to save all the £1s and £2s coins that i just seem to spend on crap like chocolate, cakes and fizzy drinks.

As part of my healthy eating plan i'm not going to buy them anymore so im not really losing anything, apart from weight hopefully!! =D
Back and ready to save some money! :D

albertross i know exactly what ur saying but all of our situations r different like im actually saving to pay my credit card off in 1 go as u can see how much it is below, reason being if i only pay off little bits at a time i keep spending on it thinkn what the hey im in debt neway ive only been like this, this year as i had the credit card 3years b4 this and paid off in full each month. so as soon as its all paid off in full i can go back to how i used to b instead of being in a vicious circle!! :D
Due to budget cuts the light at the end of the tunnel will be switched off.

I'm trying to figure out what the papier mache has got to do with it - is it like a kind of super sealed pot that we smash open with great delight next year?
