:) I did suggest this but neither bank would do it in any other format than post.
I might also try going in branch too.

    Good luck!
  • Hopefully completing on my first house purchase tomorrow and I had to do the same thing. Rather than download years worth of statements individually online I asked the bank to send over a statement of the account showing deposits over a three year time frame. They emailed me a copy and I sent it to the solicitor with no issues.
  • By way of a final update to those also struggling with this. I did eventually get the information we needed. Not by going in person to the banks (they still couldn’t provide anything much because ISA’s don’t have regular statements). The only solution I found was to call the banks and ask them to post a min of 3 months of credits to the accounts, with account numbers, which obviously had our names and addresses on it. This, finally...was enough!!

It took about a week to arrive, although nationwide warned it could take 14 days (really?!?!?! That’s ridiculous!) so I wish I’d saved myself the stress and ordered these posted statements sooner. At least I know now, as had concerns that it still wouldn’t be what we wanted. Woohoo!!
