  • another one of those here to, the worse thing i do is shop online  that never stops unless i switch my pc off :o in some ways i wish online shopping had never been invented

Couldn't agree more! It used to be that if u didn't wanna spend money, u just didn't go out! But u can't just not switch the pc on.... no MSE!

  • i think this time of year is the worst for spending money. ive just spent nearly £40 an a rainbow brite doll for my sister (27) for xmas coz she has been trying to get onje for ages and i really wanted her to have one but as i dont get paid till next week i had to pay on my cc which has been clear for 5 mths.
then we all food shop for the 5000 even though the shops are only closed for 1 day. christmas is definitley the time when the spending demons come out

I'm not sure I ever have the plot to lose it....

But it's another lesson learnt and just dream of the days when all the hard work pays off and you can spend your money how you like... xx

  • You're not alone, after doing really well, I have had to buy the children's Xmas pressys then the TV broke, so have ordered one of those too:eek:
I must say it has been fun spending the money, but after Xmas pressys bought, it'll be back to normal & will be trying to get rid of my debt again.
I shouldn't actually go into extra debt, but I am using money that could've reduced the debt I have already. Having to pay minimum payments this month, not good:o

I so knowwhat you mean, I ended up in the supermarket today throwing all and sundry in the trolley for a party. I haven't really enjoyed it because of how much I've spent!
