So did you win at popla ??

Did the landowner complaint work ?
  • POPLA rejected my appeal and now minster baywatch are after my money. i am not going to pay, so i guess they are going to take me to court. what i find curious is that the appeal decision was contrary to an identical appeal in the public domain. does it depend which way the wind is blowing?

At the moment popla are very inconsistent in their decisions , some of them cannot count either
  • well, given that you can't appeal a POPLA decision, i would probably think that the one thing they need to be is consistent. what kind of fees are we talking if they take me to court? they want £100 currently. if it goes to court are we talking £500? £1,000? i really don't want a CCJ.

A typical loss in court is maybe £175 to £200 , charges are limited in small claims court

Read one of the replies by Umkomaas , he has posted the breakdown many times on here

If you are clever you won't get a CCJ , because if you lost in Court you pay the figure set by the judge , promptly , definitely before 30 days , preferably as you leave the court Room

It's the fools that don't pay within one month who get the ccj
  • thank you for your advice. i am so f***ing p***ed off with this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are outrageous

Luckily you are on a forum with 99% wins in court, and have done since 2017.

    :)

  • So all you can do is wait and see if/when they send a LBA.

Just remember they have 6 years to do so.

If you move home within this timeframe make sure you inform them of your new address.
