Thanks everyone there have been some great ideas.
i think i'll do one for my son too and use the tresure map idea on boxing day. the ikea chest would be perfect for that. for my dad dont think he'll use it again so i'm looking for somthing cheaper or get my son to help make one when he breaks up from school that'll keep him busy :T i'll definatly be getting some eye patches.
I love the jar of dirt idea too lol
And will buy the pirates of tha carribean calendar for myself hehe.
