Rum soaked raisins make a great treat with plain vanilla ice-cream. If you started a jar now you'd be amazed at how much rum the raisins can drink by christmas!0

I seem to remember that the wrapper had an old galleon on the front or I'm remembering something else lol. Anyway, thought a ship in a bottle kit may be a fun thing to stick in http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/search-handle-url/index=toys-uk&field-keywords=ship%20in%20a%20bottle&results-process=default&dispatch=search/ref=pd_sl_aw_tops-2_toys-uk_207485349_1&results-process=default
Sorry, don't know how to condense and just pop 'click' there.
Another idea could be to get an empty bottle, make some of that 'old paper' we all did at school (aged with tea and burnt a bit at the edges) and get him to write a message to take to the sea next time he goes on holiday.
How about sticking in a Jamaican recipe along with a couple of the unusual ingredients he may not have at home.
A rasta hat.
Some cheap, kids bongo drums lol.
A coconut.
