Hi i'm making my dad a hamper for christmas and my starting point was some chocolate that he keeps talking about, Old Jamacian he dos'nt think you can buy it anymore but i found it and bought 10 bars. i have thought of putting it all in some kind of tresure chest going with the rum and pirates theme.
Any ideas what else i could put in obviously i need a bottle of rum. i have never had it what is best white or dark ????
and maybe some rum and raisin fudge.
Also anyone seen a cheap chest cardboard would do.
Thanks in advance for any help
Jo

chocolate coins?
rumwise, its difficult, i prefer dark, although morgans spiced is nice (golden).
what about a "beach" book? pirates of the carribean on dvd? a blow up parrot?
hope this helps0 -
I'm a dark rum drinker too, and I love Morgans Spice.
You could go with a "pot of gold" theme (there are a few threads relating to this on MSE) - perhaps adding a lottery scratchcard/ticket, chocolate coins etc:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j0 -
A bandana?
Could you find a guide to speaking like a pirate?
A telescope?
*not a telescope, like a pair of binoculars but only for one eye. Nelson had one.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Hi, Bookstart give all preschool children a book pack which is in a cardboard treasure chest. Do you know anyone with children around 3 years old as they may have one going spare. Just an idea. HTH0

You used to be able to buy plastic storage boxes that had a lid like a treasure chest. Not sure whther they are still available but worth googling0
