SS ISA Provider Flat fee or Percentage

Hi All

I have got a SS ISA with Charles Stanley Direct (CSD) ~ £70K; but paying too much on platform fees (ISA transfer will cost £10 per fund)....

I should in theory be doing ~ 4x £5K fund investment trade purchases per year to use all my allowance.....

I am now trying to figure out the best value for money provider (possibly flat fee due to the size of my SS ISA???). Would it be Halifax Share Dealing (HSD) £12.50 flat fee platform + £12.50 per trade (i.e., in theory £12.50 + 4x £12.50 = £62.50 --- considering I am not selling funds, etc)

Which provider would you guys suggest in my case?

There are a number of tools available that allow you to model which platforms are most cost-effective for your specific investment profile, so plug your numbers into the likes of:

You can use the Halifax regular investment option to do one off buys for £2 so £12.50 + 4x £2 = £20.50.
But is it £12.50 to sell a fund. Shares/ETFs you can buy and sell live for £3.95 on the monthly cheap trading day.

Thank you both eskbanker and Tom99....

It seems that iWeb will be the more cost effective option for me (they charge £20 for transfer out ISA >> future consideration)...

Transfer fees are under pressure from the FCA to be abolished . In any case compared to the possible ups and downs in your investments it is nothing,
