Hi,
You could try ToysRUs as my OH got his from there just over a week ago.
He got the 60gb version with Motorstorm and Resistance:Fall of Man for £349.
Also some features that are on the 60gb version aren't available on the 40gb so I'm led to believe.

I got mine for hubby from Gamestation. Picked 40gb as wouldn't play old games. Was 350 with Call of Duty 4 , Heavenly Sword, Spiderman 3 blueray and Fantastic 4 blueray. Picked this as 60gb bundles didn't have games / dvds that he would like.

Just picked up two PS3 60GB consoles + 2 free games per console from Argos for £310 each using their current £10 voucher for £100 spend offer. Buy 6 £100 vouchers on individual transactions and get 6 £10 vouchers. Then buy thePS3s on separate transactions pay the difference and get 2 more £10 vouchers. The assistant was "very" patient.

Picked up my 60gb PS3 from Wilkinsons at Retford, Notts today and they still have one for sale in store, £349.

Please post if you buy it. Would like to know if this helps anyone as I have been looking for one in stock on amazon, Argos etc and only got mine due to a post on Discount board.

I've posted this on another thread but as I was reading both in my quest I thought I would also post it here as I am now in possession of a 60gb console + 2 games (similar deal to the Toys R Us deal, which now appears to be out of stock in most branches)

Thanks to the posters on this thread and others for giving me ideas of where to look, after spending hours looking on internet sites to no avail...I phoned our local Blockbuster to be told that they had sold out but they pointed me towards Lakes, who I would never have thought of.

Lakes don't sell consoles usually but they are selling the 60gb PS3 because it has Blu-Ray. I was told that they have several in stock at the price of £349 and that includes 2 games from a choice of 6.

Keep trying the Toys R Us site - I bought mine online last week PS3 60gb (console only) for £349, and got delivery 2 days later. I was chuffed with that. Only a fews days before it said out of stock, so worth checking at various times of the day, every day.

also £29.99 + vat for extra sony ps controller &
game for £39.99 + vat
they also have the 40g cheaper i think it was 50 quid less

it's also in the next makro mail for £349 + vat
i think it's with a game
