What does Facilities Management at the hospital have to say about this? This happened at my workplace, a hospital, but i paid and have proof. I could understand them chasing if I hadn't paid. I didn't get the chance to complain to APCOA as they never sent me a letter and there was definitely no PCN on my car although they photographed it. There are no installed cameras, just parking attendants who walk up and down
Have you seen the NHS patient, visitor and staff car parking principles?
Particularly this bit...
Which hospital?Contracted-out car parking
NHS organisations are responsible for the actions of private contractors who run car parks on their behalf.0 -

Have you complained to the hospital management/CEO yet? If you have a union rep, they should be fighting this as well.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Not yet but I will. Having said that, I had a similar problem a while ago (same place!!) and the Facilities Manager said to contact APCOA direct, obviously I now know the hospital is responsible and I WILL take this further, luckily i am in management there so my contacts are pretty high up.0 -
THANKS EVERYONE - RESULT!:j
Apologies that you have received yet another letter.
Unfortunately our client have still not come back to us after raising the issue with them on several occasions.
We have decided due to this to close the charge from immediate effect and therefore you should not be receiving any further contact from us.
The case is closed.
Kind regards

The call and email was from DRP and they said the charge is cancelled and I won't be hearing from them again. My local MP has responded also and want a screenshot of my receipt and they are going to contact APCOA. Thanks again everyone :beer:0
