I received a letter from this company saying i parked without displaying a valid proof of payment. I called them and provided them with evidence that i actually did pay on that date (they had pictures of a yellow parking notice on my car which was definitely not there when i went back to my car). I thought all done and dusted but i have now received another letter from them reducing the payment by £10 saying they now recommend their client appoint a solicitor to start court action. Do i just ignore or call them as i feel like getting into a fight with them now as i have receipts from my purchase on the APCOA app.

IGNORE them
read post #4 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread near the top of this forum0 -
Debt collectors can safely be ignored, but the original PCN from CRAPCOA should not unless the alleged event occurred on railway land covered by byelaws.
Never ever 'phone a parking scammer or debt crawlers.
All the information you need about private parking charges can be found in the NEWBIES.
Don't forget to complain to your MP about this unregulated scam.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction, I was in email contact with one of the staff at DRP and i copied and pasted the letter which Daisy drafted and emailed it to him (although the link to the government website doesnt work so i deleted that part) hope that works! Shocking they still chase the money though when proof is supplied!0

The strange thing is, the PCN wasn't even on the car when i returned the first i knew about it was the debt collector letter.0 -
DRPL will ignore any entreaties from you , they cannot cancel the allged debt , only the claimant can
DRPL work on a no win - no fee harassment scenario and lie and cheat and say anything to extract money from people like you , its how they afford their holidays in the sun and shiny cars , they do not care about you
only APCOA can cancel this alleged debt and they wont either , thats why they gave it to a no win - no fee lowlife debt collector
stop corresponding witrh DRPL , ignore them , wake up and smell the coffee (we have been coming here for 6 to ten years and never seen anything good coming out of corresponding with debt collectors)
you are banging your head against a brick wall, when the blood starts to flow , stop banging , lol
chances are there was no windscreen ticket , it would have been discreet ANPR cameras , same as on the high streets m towncentres and motorways etc , or the sc@mmer on site removed the yellow windscreen ticket after taking the picture , which is a common practice and known as GHOST TICKETING (google it)0 -

Engaging with DRP was a bad idea and should never have been entertained. You should only ever deal with the PPC unless it gets to court. Sadly there is nothing you can do about that now except ignore the debt crawler.
You could send a late appeal to CRAPCOA using the blue template from the NEWBIES which may help at a later date to show you tried to engage with the PPC, although they will probably reject it.
What letter drafted by Daisy are you referring to?
Where did the alleged event occur? What happened when you complained to the landowner?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Just guessing, but probably the one written by zzzLazyDaisy in 2013 and linked from post #4 of the NEWBIES thread with the tag robustly respond.
Thats the one. Wish i had come on here before contacting them, but it panicked me, was worried about getting a bad credit report, feel a bit daft now!0 -
This happened at my workplace, a hospital, but i paid and have proof. I could understand them chasing if I hadn't paid. I didn't get the chance to complain to APCOA as they never sent me a letter and there was definitely no PCN on my car although they photographed it. There are no installed cameras, just parking attendants who walk up and downEngaging with DRP was a bad idea and should never have been entertained. As said above. DRP including their staff are ignorant muppets who live in cloud nine so don't contact them again, they will fizzle out
Debt Collectors (DRP & ZZPS) What they don't want you to know
