Unusual, courts have shown to be quite good at this (according to posters on the forum).  What does the latest notice from court say?  If it is still a F2F hearing and you and the court are in tier 4, then maybe a call to the court is in order.

Guys, my hearing is scheduled for this Wednesday and I haven't been advised it's a telephone hearing as yet. With my area being in Tier 4, should I expect a telephone hearing? Would this be at the same time as my existing hearing?
As you've not been here for the last 9 months to keep us updated, we've little little to no idea about what's happening in your case. What do you mean 'existing hearing'?  Do you have another court case to deal with as well?

Try phoning the (local) court that is handling your case and ask them.

You seem to leave everything to the last minute.

The existing hearing is the F2F on Wednesday. I have submitted WS etc and received the same from the Claimant.
I'll phone the court and see what they say. Thanks!

So I'm at court for my hearing, the claimant is here too. The allocated judge has an earlier hearing running long, so I'm being sent to another court with a deputy judge by the sounds of it. Any advice?

No? There doesn't need to be any really. Just maybe ask if the new judge has the file - they should - and offer your copy if needed.

Okay, so I lost today. The judge seemed satisfied that the signage was adequate despite none of the photos provided as evidence being legible at a glance. He actually zoomed in on his electronic copy to read the small print around parking within marked bays only, the £100 charge etc. I was spared the £60 admin fee for abuse of process but he decided the case wasn't tainted by this decision. Doesn't feel a big win considering I have to pay £50 for court/hearing fees, £150 altogether.

If I'd come to the forum, my Witness statement could have been stronger. Given that I did park over the line of a bay and couldn't dispute that, I guess my case was never the strongest. Definitely some fault at my door here but still quite disappointed.

Sorry you lost, it is a bit of a lottery, judge bingo it is called.  Shame you didn't have the ability to zoom into the signs when you were in the car like the judge did in the court.

As a way of trying to cheer you up ...... it will have cost them far more than the £150 you paid ...

Thanks, Ralph. This helps for sure.
Their rep did attempt to deal at £150 at lunch, so I'm glad I used a little more of their time.

So I received the Claimant's payment details and paid immediately. I've been emailing them every day since to request proof of payment. They have yet to reply. When I phone them, I'm routed through a series of multiple choice questions that lead to either their automated payment line or me being cut off.

Should I expect them to provide proof? My instinct tells me they'll ignore me and I'll have to pay the Court for a certificate of cancellation. Is there another option?
