Congrats to your DH on the new job. Good to have a plan to clear BC. I got rid of mine last month and hope to get rid of DH's BC in January 2020.

  • Yay for DH's new job! Congrats! Fingers are crossed that stress levels come down and well being improves.

I am another in the camp of getting rid of my BC on November payday. We can celebrate together, I can't wait for it to be gone :)

He starts his new job on the 11th November, three weeks to go :j
  • Afternoon,

Had notification that our 0% deal with MBNA that we took out in April 2016 is coming to an end on 12th December, so I will be looking to transfer the rest of it at the end of November. As much I was hoping back then to have cleared it before the 0% deal, life had other plans.

So with the BC hopefully gone, I will see if I can then BT the remainder over to that or the Lloyds, if I can, then I can see our monthly payments reducing and freeing up some much needed cash.

I can see a glimmer of a light in the far distance, albeit it is very very small at the moment.

I caved in last night and had a beer, with the internet going down every day at work and an annoying colleague coughing and spluttering everywhere I needed it.

I brought my lunch with me again today, more left over chicken risotto. I have one more for tomorrow and my week is done :D

Good that you have options to continue tarting for 0% deals. Well done on taking lunch to work - I normally do but failed twice this week - but it was pay week for both of us. We need to be much better for the rest of the month now.
