highview parking / tesco

I have been sent a charge notice from Highview for parking for 2hrs and 50 minutes in Waterfields car park when the restriction is for 2 hours. The main shop in the centre is Tesco though there are others.

I phoned tesco helpline (and I have proof I shopped in Tesco that day) and they weren't interested and said I need to appeal myself.

Have you read the newbies thread?

Highview are easy peasy and useless, send the blue appeal.

At the top of this board is a thread that tells Newbies to read it first. In that thread is a template for you to use. The record so far is two hours from sending it to cancellation.

I did read it, and found cases where phoning tesco got the charge cancelled straight away, but that failed for me :(

Tesco seem to be getting more unhelpful. Just send the template and make sure you don't put driver in any drop down boxes. Job done.

If you search the forum for the word Highview, you will see they cancel when they see the appeal from the NEWBIES thread, as long as you do NOT tick 'driver' on the online form choices.

In fact we had a competition to find the fastest cancellation by Highview, which was under two hours flat!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

As said above, send the blue appeal.

Tesco customer service is very poor, Aldi and Lidl benefit from this

The CEO Dave Lewis who has been having a love affair with parking scammers .... HAS RESIGNED saying his job is done ...... too right it's done, let's hope the new CEO is user friendly

I won't be braking any records. Since the acknowledgement on the 3rd I've heard nothing. Makes me slightly anxious that they have rejected my appeal without telling me!

Did you give them your name and address in the appeal? Many don't!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

You could also go on their website as if to pay to see if any balance outstanding - don't pay of course if there is!!!

Surely they have the "ticket" number, so can access the same address they sent the original "ticket" to.
