What do you want the contract for?
What's the overall aim you want?
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

Again, why? Presuming he is out of contract he can leave at any time from a contract that he agreed to. You do know that if you're looking for compensation for some imagined wrong that you're going to get nothing. He agreed to a contract 5 years ago and not renegotiated since.

Looking back at your original thread you said:-
    However , I don't think that we are heavy broadband users . ( 1 tablet , 3 mobile phones, sky tv, 2 smart tv's ) .

which suggests you live at home with your parents. You can't complain about the price you're paying now after 5 years of rises (especially the end of minimum term bump). That's down to your father and possibly you (dependant on your age).
  • Ref Contracts : That's the whole point . My dad is not sure as to what or , more importantly what he has NOT agreed to and thus my need for a copy of latest contract .

I have just phoned Ofcom with regards to this and they have informed me that we are legally entitled to this . They have suggested that we contact BT in writing via their complaints procedure in order to obtain a copy of latest and previous contract . Apparently, this is a regular problem with BT.

Ref personal circumstances: Yes both myself and my partner have moved in to look after my 80 year old dad after he suffered from a stroke earlier this year .
  • Thanks mac.d , that's very helpful.
