Having read the forum, I decided not to go for a 'free' will and want to use a local solicitor for peace of mind. Our wills were made in 1997 and had our address at that time - we have since moved house twice- only executor names. myself for my husband and failing me, my sons.

When my husband died my son phoned the solicitor who held the original wills and asked them to email a copy of the will to myself.

This was done without any requests for ID etc.
