Stolen catalytic converter

Had mine stolen several weeks ago (Honda CRV 2002). What I would do is get a laminated A4 saying " CAT LOCK AND TILT ALARM INSTALLED". Stick it on your rear window when your away from the vehicle. Then go to your local garage and ask if they can weld the cat to the chassis. It's costig me £669.45 to replace. Can't afford to keep doing this every 2 months0

Weld the CAT to the chassis??? The exhaust system is flexible for a reason. Welding it to the
chassis will result in breakages.
Install a sticker so they know it needs to be jacked up carefully and to use a cutter not
simply unbolt it. Better off welding the bolts and fit a tilt alarm but not advertise the fact.
Although they will find out when the alarm triggers. They may go elsewhere or be more careful
next time.
