BOS October Interest

Has anyone else received around £11 interest on their BOS Classic Advantage for October?

I am sure it should be around £6.25.

£5000 @ 1.5% is £75 interest per year so roughly around £6.25 interest per month.

I have three accounts and as far as I can see none of them dipped below £5k (if they did they were credited money to take them back up on the same day). I usually have the same (but lower and variable depending on length of the month) amount of interest each month in each account, not different for each. This month it is £7.20, £7.87 and £8.53. Something isn’t right! Each account has different balances just above £5k. Odd. I will leave it to see what happens, they may correct it downwards?

I am guessing, but extra interest could be related to what's been reported in this thread: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6053271/club-lloyds-interest-rate-7-18

My only remaining BOS account, and also my Club Lloyds, had the correct interest credited for September.

    Mine was overpaid too.

    What happens next?
    • Will BoS attempt to claw back the excess?
    • Should we leave £5K in the account(s) and hope for a repeat?
    • Will some scrupulously honest person offer to give it back?
