Club Lloyds Interest Rate 7.18% :)

My latest Club Lloyds statement (dated 17th September) says the interest rate on my account is now 7.18% for balances over £1 and 3.9% between £4000 and £5000. I'll look forward to that then. ;)

Anyone else's say the same? I wonder if we could hold them to it.

oooooh yes, I'd have some of that, too! :rotfl:

My latest statement is dated July, and did have correct AERs. I don't know when my next statement is due - I don't normally take any notice of them as I monitor the transactions far more frequently than the statement does. May be I should be paying more attention

I hadn't noticed, but mine says the same thing. August is correct, but September (dated 20th September for me) has the same 7.18% AER for £1+

All very strange especially as the £4k - £5k tier will not be introduced until 1st October.
My statements correctly show just the £1+ and £5000+ tiers and show the correct rates.
My statements are monthly. Online pdf format.
  • Paper statements over here. My interest rates are all correct :(

Have just seen my latest Club Lloyds statement and the interest rate information is misleading and wrong.

Balances of £1+ AER 0.99% Gross pa % 0.99% (Small difference but thought it should be 1%)
    Balances of £4000+ AER 2.00% Gross pa % 1.98%
    Balances of £5000+ AER 0.00% Gross pa % 0.00%

This was just how the rates were shown in the days when interest was paid on the entire balance (up to £5000) at the higher rate depending on the balance. There is nothing here to indicate that the higher rate will only apply to the part of the balance between £4000 and £5000 as we know to be the case.
