Can anyone help with emails probs?

Hi I have a Huawei PSmart 2019 with a Sky contract and use Outlook for email. All of a sudden two days ago I couldn't see emails. The phone notified me I'd received one and when I clicked on it I could see the email subject but the content wouldn't load.
I checked for updates, saw one and installed. All then worked ok. Next day same again so I uninstalled outlook and reinstalled, all worked ok once restarted phone. Today same again so had to repeat uninstall etc now working again.
If it happens again, anyone know what to do please?
