This post is really asking for an educated guess rather than actually expecting an absolute answer
We all know Thomas Cook has gone belly up and as a result prices have rocketed.
Looking towards next summer, do you think that any other of the providers will will increase their capacity to make up for the Lost seats or do we think that the seat shortage is a long-term thing?
Personally I'm inclined to think that the other Airlines will increase their capacity but you never know

Shortages will continue until Thomas Cook flight slots are sold by the administrators and planes/pilots sourced to fly them .
It's not just a simple case of other airlines adding flightsEx forum ambassador

The other major UK airlines simply do not have the aircraft to operate more flights, TUI, in particular, has a number of 737Max that it has not been able to fly, for very good reasons, for nearly 9 months and although they may be certified fit to fly some time next year, I am not sure too many will be happy to do so. The other issue is the level of the demand and unless airlines can be certain the demand is there, and who knows what might have happened by then, they will not commit, my barber flew on what should have been the busiest weekend of the year from Gatwick to Corfu with Thomas Cook Airlines and reported dozens of empty seats....0
