That has crossed my mind - it was my wife who let him in and paid him
We have locked double glazing and a second heavy wooden door in to the house - so they would struggle to break in !
As he left - he did grunt something about the door !

There's no indication that your cold-caller was anything different to what he purported to be.
What do you think the police/crimestoppers could/would do?
The most would be a 'you need to take more care with your safety, sir'.

I hope your wife now realises that she's been very lax with your home safety and personal safety.

My father always invited the JWs in and loved regaling them with the story of how my mother donated one of her kidneys to him.
