The company did not even bother to read my e-mail as I requested "read" notification.

Which would only elicit a response if they have set send read response, my system is set not to.

It's been one day since you posted here, you said it can take up to 15 days for them to respond.

Also, requesting a read receipt doesn't mean their email system is compatible with your provider and you may not even get one.

You made a debit card payment. Your online banking is showing it as a pending transaction. Is that not exactly what you would expect? It will not be debited from your account instantly. It will show as a pending transaction until debited.
Has the value of the transaction been deducted from your available balance?

Contact your bank and ask them whether they approved the transaction or failed it. Then contact the management company.

If it's showing as pending then the bank has approved it.

Odds on retailer error or a loss of connection. Meaning it timed out.

Yes, it's still showing as pending. No response from the management company as yet.

Nothing changed, still pending. Looks like it has been approved by the bank but not taken by the management company. Don't know how long it's going to be like that before it lapses?

I am in the same position.
Transaction authorised by hsbc but failed at the other end.
Bank tells me it should reappear after seven working days and they cannot lift the reserve earlier.

Would be useful to know from bank experts here if it is true that a bank cannot manually lift a reserve?
