Failed payment

I am looking for an advice. I was making a payment to the management company but the transaction failed in the end. I just checked my bank account and see that sum is "pending". What to do?

In what sense did the transaction fail, i.e. exactly how did this manifest itself?
Sometimes payments are held for checking, but this would just look like a delay rather than a failure as such. Have you spoken to anyone at the bank yet?0 -
It's came as an error and then advice to contact the management's company helpdesk. Had no conformation of successful payment no anything like that.
Not spoken to my bank yet as I was making this payment at 6pm so had no chance to contact my bank as yet. I did email the management company but had no reply.0 -
An error reported by whom and how? It's came as an error and then advice to contact the management's company helpdesk. Had no conformation of successful payment no anything like that.
Does the fact that you've been advised to contact the management's company helpdesk mean that it's that company that have sent you a message regarding this transaction, rather than your bank?
Sounds like the best thing to do would be to contact the management's company helpdesk, anyone on here trying to guess what's happened would just be speculating in the dark!0 -
I entered bank details etc and the transaction was processing and then aborted with the screen message ""Error occurred, contact the helpdesk...".0

How exactly how you were making this payment?
From what you say it appears that you were making it on the management company's website which would imply that you were using a debit (or credit) card but you mention entering your bank details which is very odd. You need to clarify this please.
The only way I can think of that you could make a payment by entering your bank details on a third party website would be if you were setting up a direct debit but if you were such a payment would not be made immediately in fact it would probably be a matter of weeks before everything was set up.0 -
I was making my debit card payment on the management company website.0

Contact your bank and ask them whether they approved the transaction or failed it. Then contact the management company.30+ years working in banking0

Sounds like the debit card payment failed - this could be for a number of reasons (numbers mis-keyed, not enough money in your bank account, held for security checks, system problems etc etc).
As above, call the help desk, find out what happened, and if necessary contact your bank.0 -
Company isn't answering to my e-mails - it says it can take to up 15 working days for them to reply! Can't get through to their help desk either.
May need to contact my bank instead of that long wait from the company.0 -
If the transaction is pending, your bank won't be able to help much. There are many legitimate reasons for a transaction to remain pending for couple of days. The best they would be able to tell you what is the automatic timeout for the pending transaction to get cancelled.Company isn't answering to my e-mails - it says it can take to up 15 working days for them to reply! You have to contact the management company. Preferably in writing, then if they can't be bothered to resolve the issue for 15 days you won't be charged for late payment.0
