Not really, unless you're all logged in at the sametime and doing intensive work. But generally no.
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -
my vista is not particularly slow.
Is there anything specific it is not quick at?We all evolve - get on with it0 -
I am using Vista on my laptop through a wireless connection.
I use firefox.
Having no problems loading stuff, all very fast.

420 @ 1.60 GHz
0.99 GB
1013MB Ram
32 Bit operating system
It's a Dell Vostro 200
Some pages flick over very quick but sometimes the pages flick over very slow, such as to get into MSN or on another account the internet takes about 10 mins to load up.0 -
Thats your problem..
1. First off its a Dell running a Cheap Celeron processor..
2. 0.99 GB...???? eer whats this?
3. All systems running Vista should have 2GB ram as a minimum.
You cant multitask with this setup Im afraid..
How much did you pay for it and when..
PLEASE NOTE... DELL MAKE BUSINESS PC.. THEY ARE NO GOOD FOR REAL WORLD0 -
my vista is not particularly slow.
You'r either watching the screen saver, have it on a laptop and hidden in a cupboard = not using it, or have a super computer.
Yeh, it sloooow! As per quote above - not particularly fast!!! My 1.7GHz dell XP pc out outperforms my friends duo core vista in a big way - even when surfing and watching vids and both of us have 1gb mem (2gb may make it fly, but I have my reservations as it is so top heavy). They had a 1GHz xp beforehand and is about as slow as that, if not a tad slower, but the graphics look great - all smoke and mirrors
GOOGLE it before you ask, you'll often save yourself a lot of time.

Okay I admit it I have a super computer.
Must have because the previous two posters tell me Vista is rubbish and so are DELL PCs.
I must write to DELL and tell them I am not happy with my PC for being so good and can they please replace it for one of the proper slow models that everyone else gets.We all evolve - get on with it0
